Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

We, The Claims Guys Limited, are a market-leading claims management company who has provided our services directly to consumers for over nine years. We solely operate from Altrincham, Cheshire, England.

Supply Chains

There is no manufacturing or distribution activity involved in our activities. However, our suppliers include: catering and cleaning; professional services (e.g. software and IT, legal, accountancy, insurance); and office services (fitters and support services).

Policy on Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking

The Board of Directors has assessed the risk of modern slavery within our business and considers the risk to be minimal. This is because we provide our services exclusively within the UK. However, we recognise that we could be indirectly or inadvertently exposed to the risk of modern slavery through our supply chains.
Where we work with suppliers, these are generally large and reputable organisations based in the UK. However, regardless of who we work with, we take steps to ensure they are committed to our values and this policy. We conduct due diligence to ensure that their services are suitable for our business; this includes ensuring that their staff are appropriately employed with a right to work within the UK.

Employment and Recruitment

We ensure that all of our prospective staff have the right to work within the UK during our recruitment process. All employees have employment contracts which are regularly reviewed in line with employment law and best practice. Should we use any recruitment agencies, we ensure that they are committed to our values, have measures in place to prevent modern slavery and are reputable. This policy is available to our staff to ensure they are aware of, and commit to, our values.

Further Steps

We regularly inspect and audit all elements of our business to ensure that our standards are maintained. This includes renewing due diligence on third party suppliers. We use both internal and external auditors to ensure impartiality and transparency.

Approval

This statement has been approved by our Board of Directors who will review and update it as necessary on an annual basis, in accordance with our financial year.
